Can you imagine having a child while your significant other is away?

Going through the entire pregnancy without your loved one, knowing that he is thousands of miles away, serving your country.

Having a baby without your husband with you in the hospital room.

Having to wait months before he can hold his child for the very first time.

This is exactly what Veronica and Brandon have experienced. After a magical photo session, displaying Veronica and Brandon together went viral, the time had come for baby Landon to be born.

Brandon is a member of the United States Air Force and has been deployed during his wife's pregnancy and his son's birth. His story previously went viral after I collaborated with his wife, Veronica, to include them in their maternity session.

Throughout the pregnancy, Veronica included Brandon in every step. She sent him photos of her belly and even included him in her maternity session. Baby Landon was born while his dad was away, but she included him in his first session too.

Baby Landon was 9 days old during his photo shoot. He posed like a star and was an absolute angel to work with.

During our photo session, Veronica was able to Skype Brandon, including him in his son's session, as if he was there. Brandon helped picked poses and outfits, sharing every moment of the session with his family.

Of course the session resulted in some patriotic photography as well.

Laying gently on the flag his father is currently fighting for adds to this newborn session quite nicely.

But of course we did other poses and used other props as well, like this photo featuring baby Landon wearing a fuzzy bear hat.

I simply could not get enough of this gorgeous baby and this wonderful family.

It is safe to say that this is more than just an inspiring story. It is one that has touched the heart of millions.
