NEWBORN SESSION PREP GUIDE
Please arrive early or on time.
A bath the morning of your session is a great way to keep your little one awake prior to your session. Try & feed right before you leave. A happy, sleepy, and “milk drunk” baby is key to a successful shoot. You can also arrive early if you need to nurse . It is imperative to keep my studio warm during your newborn session. I will have a small space heater in the room and I advise all parents to dress lightly and comfortably.
Prior to your session, dress your little one in lose fitting, easy-to-remove clothing and loosen their diaper to avoid marks on their skin. Please NO onesies over the head. Button up or zipper is perfect.
Please bring a pacifier. If we can use one for the session it helps a great deal with posing.
If breastfeeding, please avoid spicy foods prior to your session as these foods can bother baby's tummy and keep them awake and fussy. If you are comfortable pumping or supplimenting, it is a great idea to have bottles on hand during your session. If formula feeding please bring extra. Otherwise you are more than welcome to breastfeed throughout the session as necessary.
Studio space is small so please I ask no more than 2 adults at the shoot.
Remaining balance due at the session. Cash, zelle, or check preferred. Otherwise I have cc swiper.
